This season features a new four-team format -- Team Red vs Team Blue vs Team Green vs Team Black -- in which the teams are chosen by random draw. Each team will compete in numerous challenges, which are followed by elimination rounds known as "The Circus". The winning team of the challenge will be safe from entering the Circus, and the losing team will automatically be sent to the Circus. The winning team will also cast a vote that will determine which of the two remaining teams will face the other team in the The Circus.
